Thames Hospice Care
Thames Hospicecare (THc) exists to help people live the best possible life they can right to the very end. We cannot cure the illness but we can and do help people live better and more fulfilling lives.
Heavenly Stars
The race was the Great South Run, a 10 mile road race, on 25 October 2009. I managed to raise the magnificent sum of £600, which included £50 raised by Callum and Ellie’s elder siblings, and my son, by running a cake stall at their primary school.

Heavenly Stars was set up in loving memory of Callum and Ellie to help raise money to support families faced with the unthinkable task of caring for a life limited child (“life limited” means those children with a medical or genetic condition that significantly reduces their life expectency)
Virgin Giving
When Virgin announced a new sponsorship agreement with the London Marathon starting in April 2010, they made a commitment to help runners raise a quarter of a billion pounds for charity over 5 years.
Marathon Woman
When people hear what I’m planning to do, most think I’m mad, with only a few agreeing with me that it’s an exciting new challenge. It tends to be the runners who can appreciate just how hard 10 marathons in 10 days is going to be, especially if you’ve suffered the pain that comes in the days after your first marathon.
Running4Women Foundation
The Running 4 Women Foundation was set up to help address the problems faced by young women and their families living in some of the world’s poorest regions. We aim to provide sporting, educational and career opportunities for young women; promote health awareness, and provide a variety of support networks.
CRASH
Every year it’s estimated that 400,000 people experience homelessness in the UK. Many thousands find themselves living in hostels and temporary accommodation. CRASH aims to provide a safe and welcoming environment from which homeless people
Breakthrough
Breakthrough Breast Cancer is a pioneering charity dedicated to removing the fear of breast cancer for good, through research, campaigning and education.
